I have a wealth of experience in the refurbishment and property management industries and provide other specialist services including buying and selling of premium properties in London.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. A consultant will visit you to discuss your ideas and planning options and inform you of any relevant building regulations required. Where possible, we will provide a quotation and a sketch of the proposed works.
  2. If you are happy to get the planning process started and to confirm your booking a contract will be drawn up listing the works requested and detailing a payment plan. A small initial payment will be needed first with no further payment required until the work begins.
  3. An architectural plan will then be drawn up and sent to you. If required, a copy will be sent to the local council in conjunction with your planning/lawful development application. Please note it may take up to 8 weeks for the council to decide on the application.
  4. We will manage all stages of the project, purchasing of materials and managing good tradesman where required without delays. We will be in close communication throughout the project updating you with the progress, answering your questions and giving you advice if required.
  5. It will normally be down to you to choose your finishes types and colours, but if you require our help we would be more than happy to assist and to help in sourcing materials.

How do I get planning permission?

You need to apply to your local authority for planning permission. Visit their online website or give them a call and ask for any leaflets or booklets they have that explain the process. Once you have your plans ready you just need to fill out the forms, send them back and pay the correct fee. If you're still unsure how to proceed please contact us and we will help to get you started.

Can Reniam design and submit my application FOR WHAT??

Absolutely. Where the client has not yet appointed a designer, we can take complete control of the whole process from the initial concept design, through to planning, procurement and construction, giving the client a single point of responsibility from start to finish. We look to use specialist designers to carry out design work on our behalf, while our project managers oversee the entire process to ensure completion in line with the client’s requirements, on time and within budget.

This route can suit clients who wish the whole process to be as simple as possible and prefer to deal with just one company rather than a range of different specialists.

Do you have insurance?

We are bona fide subcontractors with liability insurance which we would be happy to supply before any work commences.
